Series Trouble | Sarah ft. Beth

Image
Hey hey hey I'm Sarah and I'm doing a post with Beth. Our blog's first collab!!! Hahahaha. Since I did my favorite dramas , I thought I'd just share some of the TV series that Beth and I like. Obviously because I don't watch much English shows anymore, I need Beth's help. So anyway I'm gonna quit the chit-chat and go right into it. Ps: If you're wondering why the post is called 'Series Trouble', Beth said that 'series' sounded alot like serious so 'series trouble' and 'serious trouble'.... PUN-ish her. Lol I'm sorry. 1) The 100 THE 100 season 1  The 100 is a show I would say is similar to Maze Runner and Hunger Games. Ever since the Earth was destroyed by a bomb many years ago, humans have been living in a space ship/station (?) which they call The Ark. The Ark has very strict rules to keep peace and whoever who interferes with this peace will get floated (basically they release you into the vacuum of oute

April Favorites | Bethany

So.....there was no March Favorites....right? No worries! I'm back with April! I've got some awesome stuff I wanna share so without much chit chat....let's get on with it! ***   The first thing I've been loving this April is this Apricot Scrub by St. Ives. WARNING: The fruity scent of apricots is present. So if you dislike apricot scents, stay 5 metres away from it. =] ....or to be extra safe, 5 MILES! (Or just don't open it.) The texture of this is not very rough and so you won't feel as if you're tearing apart your skin.....no worries :). I think after exfoliating, your skin will naturally feel smoother and softer which; come on guys, it feels awesome just by the thought of it. Overall, this has been helping me tons on fading my scars that have been a little stubborn. (You're probably thinking my face is covered in scars now. It's okay. Continue your thoughts and imaginations on how I look like. Haha. Look at me being all narcis

DIY Kate Spade Inspired Jewelry Dish | Ally

Hey, as time goes by, I feel like my introductions become weirder and weirder so this time it’s just gonna be a simple Hi! J Today, as you can guess by the title, it’s gonna be another DIY but this time, it’s a Kate Spade inspired décor. I’m sure you’ve seen really cute décor everywhere but when you pick it up and see the tag, your heart gets like a mini heart attack. I sooo get you….. Recently, I was internet browsing while looking for really cute décor for my room when I came across the Kate Spade website. I absolutely fell in love with the things I saw but let’s just say I don’t earn any money by attending school so that was a total NO! NO! I’ve seen a few videos on YouTube and I was like how hard can it be…? So today, I decided to try it out. I’m in no means saying this is better than the original but I think it’s a fun idea to try out if you’re not planning on burning a hole in your pocket. I’m pretty sure this DIY will ensure your pocket to stay unholed….P.S. that isn’t eve

K-Pop Reaction: Seventeen | Forty-Two³

Image
Hello hello everyone!    We hope you guys enjoyed the previous 'K-Pop' reaction posts that have been up here on our blog! Today, the three of us are gonna react to.......Seventeen's song 'Mansae' (만세) which literally means 'Hooray'.     Disclaimer: If you feel offended by any of our comments, we're sorry. Just keep in mind, Sarah and Ally are K-pop fans too and it was just for entertainment and out of boredom. Whatever we say are 100% our own opinions. Also, credits to the songwriters and the singers for their masterpiece(s). Thank you :)     Small clarification: Beth's sister has replayed this song multiple of times on a daily basis so Beth is pretty much annoyed by this song so her reaction is pretty much dry and straightforward. Sorry if you're offended.     Here is the video of the song just if you wanna listen to it while you read it :)   ------Reaction Starts Now------   Sarah: For an idol group they should po

Heyy people people!!! HAPPY 16th OF THE MONTH!! It's me, Beth typing the intro of this post!! The reason is because, Ally and Sarah have put their ears to the test by typing the whole recording of our reaction into words. And so now, it's my turn to do something by getting pictures and typing the intro [and editing]! (This so happens for all of our reaction posts so far).   Yay! So without further ado, let's head on with the disclaimer, the video link and then the reaction post! :)   Disclaimer: If you feel offended by any of our comments, we're sorry. Just keep in mind, Sarah and Ally are K-pop fans too and it was just for entertainment and out of boredom. Whatever we say are 100% our own opinions. Also, credits to the songwriters and the singers for their masterpiece(s). Thank you :)   Just like always, here's the video!   ------Reaction Starts Now------    Beth: Oh it's snowing! Beth: Oh! It's an astronaut! Ally: This is their

Study Tips | Sarah

Image
Hi it's me SARAH!   So my exams have just  ended (it was like...last month) and even though I'm probably not the best person to ask...*if you want to hear from the smart person here, go ask Ally*. I'm gonna share some study tips!! I'm also writing this for myself so I won't forget and so I can refer to this post for the next exam. Which of course has to be in two weeks time. T_T. 1) Don't cram! I know most people probably study like crazy and try to cram everything the night before the exam but it probably won't be as effective compared to pacing yourself out and taking time to understand the subject. Start maybe 1 or 2 weeks before the exam and slowly start studying. For example, 2 weeks before the exam, study 2 pages a day then when it comes nearer to the exam date, study a chapter a day. 2) Plan This is related to the first point and it's to make a schedule so that you won't find yourself not having enough time to finish studying.

Reality of Being a Teen | Bethany

Image
You know how sometimes you just feel so thirsty and long for the future to come so you can finally erase the thoughts of curiosity inside of you? I used to assume that when I become a teenager, I'd go out shopping everyday after school and find a super hot guy to be my boyfriend (actually; I thought having a super hot boyfriend was essential to every teenage girl out there).   I used to think that I'll have so much fun walking in heels, dressing up  all cute with a flawless face as if I applied make-up permanently. I thought my hair would be curled or straightened when I liked and always assumed for it to be an easy process.   Honestly now that I'm in my teenage years and the child-version of me must be satisfied, I have to say that being a teen is not all fun and rainbows.      So today I'm bringing you........     Life begins to change. It's not the kind of change like, 'Oh! I have boobs now!' or 'Look I have a moustache'
